Municipal college of professional (vocational and technical) education “Kyiv Vocational College of Railway Transport named by V.S. Kudriashova” during its 153-year history has always provided training for railway specialists.
On November 27, 1870,the vocational school had been opened at the Kyiv Main Workshops of the South-Western Railway.
Having started its activities in 1870, the school had trained more than 70,000 skilled workers, turning from an orphanage for the children of railway workers into a strong forge of workers.
The college has the following licenses for carrying out educational activities:

One of the largest enterprises-customers of personnel by is the Joint-Stock Company “Ukrainian Railway”, units : “South-Western Railway” Regional Branch, “Passenger Company” Branch, “Darnytskyi Wagon Repair Plant” Branch, the main cooperation between the college and the partner is the implementation of production practices and training on the basis of the partner’s production facilities, provision of the first workplace to graduates of the educational institution, as well as internships for persons of partner companies.
